INSPIRATIONAL STORY

NO MONEY MORE THAN EDUCATION

One was the king. He loved animals and birds very much. They used to go to the forest to meet animals and birds. One day, as usual, the king went to the forest to see the animals and birds. Suddenly clouds covered the sky and it started raining heavily. They could not see anything because it was raining. The king went astray. Finding a way, the king somehow reached the edge of the forest. Hungry, thirsty and tired, the king sat down under a big tree. Then the king saw three children coming from there.

The king lovingly called them to him. Kids come here. Listen to me the three children came to the king laughing and playing. Then the king said- I am very hungry and thirsty. May I have food and water? The boy said, our house is nearby. We just go and get food and water for you. Just wait a bit. The three boys ran and fetched food and water for the king.

The king was very happy with the behaviour of the children. They said, love children, you have quenched my hunger and thirst. I want to give you three children something as a reward. Tell me what you children want. After thinking for a while, a child said, Maharaj, can you give me a big bungalow and a car. The king said, yes, yes, why not. This is exactly what you need. Now the child did not swell.

The other child also jumped up and said, I am very poor. I need money So that I can eat well, wear nice clothes and have a lot of fun. The king smiled and said, OK son, I will give you a lot of money. Hearing this, the other boy jumped for joy.

Why would the third child be silent?

He also spoke, Maharaj. Will you fulfill my dream too? Smiling, the king said- why not, tell me, son, what is your dream. You also need wealth. No king I do not want wealth. My dream is to become a scholar by reading and writing. Can you do something for me? The king was very happy to hear about the third child. The king made proper arrangements for his reading and writing.

He was a hardworking boy. He read diligently day and night and got first place in the class. Time passed like this. He became a scholar by reading and writing. The king made him minister of state. Being intelligent, all the people started respecting him.

The boy had asked the king for a bungalow and a car. A sudden flood swept away everything. The other child also did no work after getting money. He just spent money all day and spent money and had fun. But how long will the money be kept? There came a time when all his wealth was gone. He became poor again.

Saddened, the two boys went to the king’s court to meet their friend, the minister. They were sad and said to their friend, we made a big mistake in asking the king for a reward. Our money, bungalow, car were all destroyed. We have nothing left now. Explaining, the friend said, no one always has wealth. Money comes and goes. There is only education that we always have. We become rich not by money but by education. Both the boys were very sorry for their mistake. He decided that we too would study hard and diligently and make our lives happier.

Moral of Story
