Medha Suktam | Medha Sukta | मेधा सूक्त
Although this hymn is useful for everyone, but it is especially useful for students and children. There are some mantras which are given in the 32nd chapter of Yajurveda. Medha or Wisdom is obtained by increasing these mantras. Those who are pure in intelligence are called Medha Suktam or Wisdom Hymn.

Medha literally means Wisdom, Wisdom etc. Medha is a special power of the intellect which (planetary science) holds the acquired knowledge and also reveals it at the right time. For the attainment of this intellect, in these mantras prayers have been given to Agni, Varun Dev, Prajapati, Indra, Vayu, Dhata etc. By reciting these mantras methodically, the intellect increases and purity comes in it.
A Mantra of Medha Suktam or Wisdom Hymn is very famous which is as follows:-
Medhaan Me Varuno Dadaatu Medhaamagnih Prajaapatih.
Medhaamindrashch Vaayushch Medhaan Dhaata Dadaatu Me Svaaha.
मेधां मे वरुणो ददातु मेधामग्निः प्रजापतिः।
मेधामिन्द्रश्च वायुश्च मेधां धाता ददातु मे स्वाहा ॥
There are some mantras in Hinduism, in which to make children intelligent and intelligent, ghee and honey are licked by the finger of the ring finger by the mantras like “Om Bhootastvayi Dadhaami” etc. For this, mantras like “Om Agnirayushmaan” are recited in the right ear of the child or near the navel.
The mantras of this Medha Suktam are of great importance from the point of view of increasing intellect. The recitation of these mantras is useful for sharpening the intellect and for the prevention of retardation defects.

सदसस्पतिमद्भुतं प्रियमिन्द्रस्य काम्यम्।
सनिं मेधामयासिष, स्वाहा ॥१ ॥
या मेधा देवगणाः पितरश्चापासता
तया मामद्य मेधयाऽग्ने मेधाविनं कुरु स्वाहा ॥२ ॥
मेधां मे वरुणो ददातु मेधामग्निः प्रजापतिः।
मेधामिन्द्रश्च वायुश्च मेधां धाता ददातु मे स्वाहा ॥३ ॥
इदं मे ब्रह्म च क्षत्रं चोभे श्रियमश्नुताम्।
मयि देवा दधतु श्रियमुत्तमां तस्यै ते स्वाहा ॥४ ॥

Oh Lord Varuna! You give me such an intellect which will enable me to understand philosophy. May God Agni and Prajapati grant me intellect. May the wind god grant me intellect. Hey! May you give me wisdom. My sacrifice is dedicated to all of you gods. Brahmins and Kshatriya castes together use my Lakshmi. May the gods grant me the best kind of Lakshmi. This excellent sacrifice made by me to Lakshmi ji is dedicated.

मेधादेवी जुषमाणा न आगाद्विश्वाची भद्रा सुमनस्य माना।
त्वया जुष्टा नुदमाना दुरुक्तान् बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः।
त्वया जुष्ट ऋषिर्भवति देवि त्वया ब्रह्माऽऽगतश्रीरुत त्वया।
त्वया जुष्टश्चित्रं विन्दते वसु सा नो जुषस्व द्रविणो न मेधे। ॥१ ॥
मेधां म इन्द्रो दधातु मेधां देवी सरस्वती।
मेधां मे अश्विनावुभावाधत्तां पुष्करस्त्रजा।
अप्सरासु या मेधा गन्धर्वेषु च यन्मनः।
दैवीं मेधा व सरस्वती सा मां मेधा सुरभिर्जुषतां स्वाहा ॥२ ॥
आ मां मेधा सुरभिर्विश्वरूपा हिरण्यवर्णा जगती जगम्या।
ऊर्जस्वती पयसा पिन्वमाना सा मां मेधा सुप्रतीका जुषन्ताम् ॥३ ॥

Medha Devi (Goddess of Medha or Wisdom) means Mother Saraswati, being pleased, the Goddess of welfare, a beautiful mind, came near me.
After getting inspiration from you, we spoke good words to the asad speaking people and became great people. That’s it! The person on whom you are pleased becomes a rishi (mantra seer). He becomes brahmajnani and sri affluent. Whoever you bless gets immense wealth. That’s it! May Goddess Mata Saraswati be pleased with me and endow me with wealth.
May Lord Indra give us wisdom. May Saraswati Mata bless us with intelligence. May both Ashwani Kumars who wear lotus garlands give us wisdom.
May the intellect which is in the Apsaras and the intellect in the minds of the Gandharvas be pleased with me;
May Goddess Medha i.e. Goddess Saraswati be always pleased with me while drinking the milk of knowledge. There is prayer.
