Pashchaad Raavan Kumbhakarn Hananam, Etaddhi Raamaayanam..
आदौ राम तपोवनादि गमनं, हत्वा मृगं कांचनम्।
वैदीहीहरणं जटायुमरणं, सुग्रीवसंभाषणम्।।
बालीनिर्दलनं समुद्रतरणं, लंकापुरीदाहनम्।
पश्चाद् रावण कुम्भकर्ण हननम्, एतद्धि रामायणम्।।
Ek Shloki Ramayan – Meaning of the Verse

एक श्लोकी रामायण – श्लोक का अर्थ
श्री राम वनवास गये, वहां उन्होंने स्वर्ण मृग का वध किया। रावण ने सीताजी का हरण किया, जटायु को रावण ने मार डाला। श्रीराम और सुग्रीव मित्र बन गये। श्रीराम ने बाली का वध किया। समुद्र पार किया. लंका जला दी. इसके बाद उन्होंने रावण और कुम्भकर्ण का वध किया।

कहा जाता है कि एक श्लोकी रामायण के इस मंत्र का जाप दैनिक दिनचर्या के साथ भी किया जा सकता है, वैसे तो इस मंत्र का जाप 108 बार करना चाहिए लेकिन अगर यह संभव न हो तो इस एक श्लोकी रामायण के इस मंत्र का जाप 7, 14 या 21 बार भी किया जा सकता है.
