Dhirubhai was born in a Gujarati family. His father was a school teacher and he was the second son. Dhiru Bhai Ambani started his career by selling “pakoras” which he used to do during his childhood holidays.

With patience and determination, he went ahead and achieved a great record. His name was included in Forbes list of the top 50 billionaires of the word. In 2002, this history man left the world forever and after that his sons Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani are handling the company.
